MOTHER TRUST a NGO working in the field of Deaddiction Organised an Awareness Program on Drug Abuse and its effects on 09th January 2021 on Volontariate NGO, Uppalam, Puducherry. The main objectives of these program to be generate awareness among the public on "Ill Effects of Alcoholism" regarding Outreach Drop In Centre running under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJE), Govt. of India.
Around 40 members from that area people participated in the program and got benefited from it.
Main aim of this program is to give awareness of Drug Abuse. Under this program ODIC has been issued Pamphlets printed in local language (Tamil) to the participants.
Mr. M. Paneerselvam (Senior Counsellor in Bharathamatha Deaddiction Centre - IRCA) were the Chief Guest of the Program. ODIC Centre Incharge Mr. V. Arun Praveen along with his team Ms. T. Anusuya (Outreach Worker), Ms. S. Vensin Mary (Outreach Worker), Ms. S. Antony Leena Mary of ODIC project mentioned that the NGO "Mother Trust" is actively involved in Drug Use Treatment among the Drug Users.
In these awareness program was organized Mr. Manoharan (Social Worker of Volonatariat Puducherry) and also special thanks to Mr. Sendhil Kumar (Director of Volontariat, Puducherry).
