     Outreach and Drop In Centre has been conducted Awareness Program in Kombakkampet 2 Anganwadi Centres. Mrs. Shanthi (Anganwadi Teacher) has organized the awareness program. Resource person of the awareness program is Mr. V. Arun Praveen (Centre Incharge of ODIC) and Ms. S. Vensin Mary (Outreach Worker of ODIC).

        Mrs. Shanthi (Anganwadi Teacher) has welcomed the resource person of the program and also welcomed all participants.

        Mr. V. Arun Praveen (Centre In-charge of ODIC) has explained the Classification of Drugs as like Alcohol, Tobacco, Cannabis, Inhalants, Sedative Drugs, Injections, How its affects the Individual himself, family level, Society level and its treatment for recovery.         

    Following Ms. S. Vensin Mary (Outreach Worker of ODIC) has explained about the ODIC Schemes to the participants like Awareness procedure, Survey, Treatment procedure, Counselling procedure and then Follow up procedure.

    Finally, issued the IEC material to the participants and then Mrs. Shanthi (Anganwadi Teacher) has given the vote of thanks.
