Kirumampakkam Police has conducted a Awareness program in Echangadu area in Kirumampakkam village on 17th July 2021. In this program, from Mother Trust - ODIC Mr. P, Jeyakumar (Administrator of Mother Trust) has attended the program and given lecturer to the General Publics.
Before start the program, Police officer has caught 2 kg of Cannabis in this village. So, that the Police Officer has planned to give the awareness to the General Public about the Ill effects of Drug Abuse.
Mr. Muruganantham (Sub Inspector of Police - Kirumampakkam Police Station) has given the welcome address to the publics. and also spoke about the Area Crime report to the publics.
Following Mr. Varatharajan (Inspector - Kirumampakkam Police Station) has gave the speech about what are police force has done about the Drug Abuse in that area.
Chief Guest of the Program Mr. Logeshwaran (Superintendent of Police - South) was an young Police officer and good Designation in Puducherry Police Force. He gave a brief details about the procedure of caught Cannabis case, how to reduce and inform the supply of Cannabis in that area, feel free to use the police force for eradicate a Drug users and Abusers.
Chief Guest of the Program Mr. P. Jeyakumar (Administrator of Mother Trust) has gave a brief awareness about Ill Effects of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, Disease Concept, Treatment Procedure, Followup , ODIC Schemes and Services to the General Public of Kirumampakkam Village.
Finally the meeting has been ended with the vote of thanks and General Public has been got benefited from this program about the Drug Abuse.
The Awareness Program has been started at 6 pm and ended at 7.30 pm in Echangadu, Kirumampakkam Village. Thanks to Kirumampakkam Police Officers for given this wonderful opportunities to us.
