Ill Effects of Alcoholism

Outreach and Drop In Centre (ODIC) has organized a Awareness Program in Nirnayapattu Village Anganwadi Centre in the topic of Ill Effects of Alcoholism on 13th July 2021.
The Program was started with welcome address was given by Ms. Sarojini (Anganwadi Teacher).
Followed by Introduction speech was given Ms. T. Anusuya (Outreach Worker of ODIC) explained about Mother Trust, Services and also explained objectives of the Program.
Continued by Mr. V. Arun Praveen (Centre In-charge of ODIC) explained about Ill Effects of Alcoholism and importance of addiction treatment and also explained Ill effects of Inhalants Drugs and Sedative Drugs to the Participants.
Ms. Anusuya (Outreach Worker of ODIC) explained about the ODIC Schemes and Services.
Around 19 members were participated and benefited. Pamphlet and IEC material were distributed. Participants raised some question about Addiction Treatment and it was clarified by ODIC Team.
Program went successfully with the good co-operation of Anganwadi Workers and Participants of the program. Finally Vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Anusuya (Outreach Worker of ODIC).
