Disease Concept of Alcoholism

Awareness Program was organized by ODIC Staffs among General Publics at Kudiyiruppupalyam Quarters. Program was started with welcome address was given by Mrs. K. Thirumangai (General Public) and Ms. T. Anusuya (Outreach Worker of ODIC) explained about Mother Trust schemes and services and also a projects.
Continued by Mr. M. Paneerselvam (Senior Counellor of IRCA) explained about the disease concepts of Alcoholism and also explained about the three phases of Addiciton.
Mr. V. Arun Praveen (Centre In-charge of ODIC) explained about the Inhalants Drugs and Sedative Drugs (causes and effects)
Mr. K. Pragaspathy (Outreach Worker of ODIC) explained about ODIC Schemes and Services to the General Publics.
Around 25 members were participated and benefited in this program. Pamphlets and IEC material were distributed to the participants.
Finally vote of thanks was given by Ms. T. Anusuya (Outreach Worker of ODIC).
