AWARENESS MEETING CONDUCTED AT KOMPAKKAM - KUPPAM AREA
This Awareness Meeting conducted at Kompakkam village kuppam area on 09-02-2023 at Anganwadi Centre for Women`s group. It was organised by Mrs. Bakkiyalakshmi, Teacher and her helper. There are 30 women members are participated from village community. The meeting was started with welcome speech by Anganwady teacher. She introduced about our institution and its on going activities to the group members. The Mr. Kuppusami, Project Co-Ordinator cum Counsellor, ODIC was explaining about ill Health of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse. During his speech he shared about Addict is a not only individual Disease and it aslo family disease. He was explaining about Due to Alcoholism Addict, Different Problem araises as follows: Economical dependency, Children education, Occupation, Family relationship, Psychological Disturbance Etc. Mrs. Karthiga, Counsellor was sharing about IRCA - Bharatha Matha activities of Short stay Home, Treatment, Counselling Facilities and further follow up. Then we have received feed back from the beneficiaries and it has been recorded. Our pamphlets are distributed to the participants by our ORW`s. Finally one of the Beneficiary was conveyed Thanks to all the participants. with that our awareness meeting was concluded with thanks.
