AWARENESS PROGRAMME CONDUCTED AT KOMPAKKAM VILLAGE.
This awareness meeting conducted at Kompakkam village - Anganwady Centre-I on 27-02-2023 and it was Organised by Mrs. Dhanalakshmi, Anganwady Teacher and her Helper for Community women group. The meeting was started with welcome speech by Teacher and she was introduced us and explained about our centre activities to participants. Then Mr. Kuppusami, Project Co-ordinator cum Counsellor of ODIC was sharing about "ill effects of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse" in detailed. Due to Addicts what are the problems faced by an individual as well as family. Explained about what are the Health problem and Psychological problem will be happened in the family. Economical and Occupation disturbances also will be taken place.Children education also will be possibilities of discontinue.So we insist them to help us to identify the new addicts cases in their area and put on proper treatment and Counselling follow up.Then our ODIC Staff Ms. Antony Leena Mary was sharing about ODIC on going activities and asking their cooperation during our survey period to identifying the new cases. After discussion with group we have received Feed back from the beneficiaries. our pamphlets are distributed to the group members. Finally one of the participants was conveyed thanks to all and with that our awareness meeting was concluded......
