AWARENESS MEETING CONDUCTED AT KOMPAKKAM VILLAGE.
This Awareness meeting was conducted at Kompakkam village Anganwady centre -II on 02-02-2023 which was organised by Mrs. Vishnu Priya, Anganwady teacher and her helper. The meeting started with Welcome address by Anganwady Teacher and she introduced us and briefly shared about our organisation activities to the participants.Then Mr. Sivanantham, Project Director of IRCA Centre, was explaining about ill Health of Alcoholism and Drug abuse. He was sharing detailed about what is an Addicts, What are the problems are facing by an Individual; Families, Friends, Relatives community and working place. Also sharing about
Treatment facilities, Referral services, Counselling services Etc. Then Mr. Kuppusami, Project Coordinator of ODIC was Explaining about on going Field activities and identification of new cases, and Follow up in their respective areas. After sharing the message to the group and they have given their feed back. Hand bills are also distributed to participants by our ORW`s. at the end one of the participants was conveyed Thanks to all with that meeting was concluded.
